“I guess you could say it was a bit like well… magic”

This line from the book actually defines it! It wasn't and harry potter magic but magic in the simple things that happen to us, which if had happened in a different way then  life won’t have been the way it is. That’s magic too, isn't it?!

This story is about a girl- Holiday Sanchez, who had a father- Stan, who was never her dad and her lovely mother Rita. Her life changed because of Stan’s craziness and now she suffers with anxiety and is afraid of interacting with people. But then she meets Milo the great- a Magician who brings magic in her life.
I LOVED THE BOOK! The plot was amazing and I loved the writing style. The writing was what you can call comfortable and easy and things just went on with the flow. Things were revealed slowly throughout the book and they seemed to be coming at the perfect time. It all made sense in the end and brought a genuine smile to my face thinking about this wonderful journey with life completely going out of hand and the healing. It was a roller-coaster of emotions for me, I cried and laughed and loved the characters and the book.

I really liked Holiday. Reading from her point of view didn't make me think that she was crazy at all but when I though as a third person I realized that’s what she would've looked to me like- crazy. She grew as a person throughout the book
Milo is soo cute. I just love him! You have to love him. He is like the perfect guy, why can’t there be people like him in the actual world!Also, I tried to think what might’ve been Stan’s reasons for doing what he did. I got some crazy ideas though none of them makes any sense.

This book makes you wonder. About life. About the people around you-Their life, Their pain, If they are also suffering.It also gives an insight in the life of an introvert, why are they so and if something happened to them to make them so(though some people are introverts nature wise also). I am much of a listener than a talker and am frank only with people I know. I could relate to the protagonist to an extent, not with the things that she endured but I just could. I feel like I am getting sidetracked from the review and talking about myself instead, but that’s just the way this book is! It makes you relate to the characters taking in account you can actually relate and in my case I could, not completely but to some extent, which was enough to get tears in my eyes.
It deals with the issue of terrorist attacks making you think about the families of the terrorists, who have to live with the guilt that their family members- father, brother etc. are destroying others families. Though its not their fault that they are born in that family or their parents take up such occupation.This is a book people should be reading, to make a difference and bring a change in the world. Everyone has problems and every person’s life takes turns but that doesn't mean we will harm others or try to inflict pain to others.

This book has a really deep meaning and everyone should read it. It had the perfect pinch of romance, suspense, heartbreak and the storyline was Mind-blowing!
 I will recommend it to everyone, it is a book the needs to be read to bring change in the world and make it a better place to live in!So grab your copy if you want to leave the world a better place than how you found it by doing your little bit- smiling and making others smile.

Throne Of Glass

This series by Sarah j. Maas is one of the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (thats actually a word and it means basically AWESOMEE) series I've ever read. I love the series and let me just tell you one thing, and you might like to consider it as a warning- this book kills guys, and it will kill you! But believe me, a girl who has already endured all of it, that you will LOVE IT and thank all the Gods for making you read this series and meeting those characters who grow to be a part of your life.

Just 5 books of this series are out now and there will be total 7 books in this series.

Throughout the series we get to see things from many people’s point of view and that is one of the about thing I like about this book!

This is the first book in the series and everything begins here, this whole rutting, loving, wrecking, crying, lovable journey begins here.
The main plot of this book was that Celaena works really hard to become the king's champion and this is just the beginning and the least of her problems compared to those in the upcoming books.

I just love Celaena! Like you just can’t not love her! She is the boss man! Her smart ass mouth and her swagger is everything, like every freaking thing AND she loves books and reading, so I am sure there’s no doubt left for why I love her soo much

Dorian is my baby boy. I love him soo much. He is just sweet and adorable and his sole job is to make the world beautiful just by residing in it (other males join him later in this heavenly task *winks*)

Chaol is lovable and the writing just makes you think about him, about his life, about what he wants or desires. I just love such things in books. I loved him in this book a lot.

The main plot of this book is that Celaena works really hard to become the king's champion but it is the least of her problems as compared to those in the upcoming books.

This book was a bit predictable but this series just gets better and better with each book

My Review

It was a really thrilling read and had my attention gripped throughout. There was always something happening and as the story goes on we get many new revelations revolving around the characters.
We get to listen from multiple POV’s of all the main female characters and the reader’s curiosity just goes on increasing! I suspected nearly everyone but the revelation was still very shocking.   I really liked the main character- Rachel. She has many flaws but her thoughts and actions were genuinely kind though in real life they may have been odd but reading them seems good. A thought passed me while reading that if we were characters from a book then people or readers will love us for our flaws and with them.Kamal Adbic was also one of my favorite characters because of his job and the way he handled it. even outside his office and working hours he was working and his dedication towards his work is amazing.  It’s like he knows he has ability and so he uses it to his full potential to help others.Also the whole concept of therapists was kinda new to me because I didn't actually know what happened in a meeting with a therapist but after reading it the idea seems so heavenly. Talking about your life to a stranger, spilling out your fears, dreams, aspirations and your whole story to a stranger that you know will understand it and won’t judge you seems just so inviting because we can’t talk about such things freely to people we know in fear of being judged.
On another note, there are some words which many people don’t like to read but if you’re comfortable with them then just go ahead, grab your copy and start reading. If you’re looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat then I’d recommend it

My Review

The story is set in a small village of Pakistan-Saidpur and all the cultural activities are so thoroughly highlighted that made me enjoy this book so much. I could relate to many things since India and Pakistan share pretty much the same traditions and spoken language.

The village was brought to life fantastically by the author and the insights to the festivals, weddings and the life style of people in Pakistan was phenomenal! It was a really good experience to see this world from their point of view.

The Characters in this book were very well portrayed and I loved their descriptions

The protagonist-Zayne Shah is a hardworking person who is a truth seeker as well. He is not perfect and has flaws like everyone else and has feelings too. He is not so afraid to express himself in front of his mother and that is something I really liked about him- ignoring the gender stereotypes.

This same quality makes Gapoori, another very important character, my favorite. She is lively, humorous, kind of bossy and I just love her!

I have mixed feelings for Asiya. I like her but not that much. She seems to me to be a feminist and some of her thoughts and actions just made me love her. I don’t know why I don’t like her as a character that much; there just wasn’t a connection with her.

On the contrary, I love Assad! He is awesome and he is humorous. He is very loyal too and he makes you love him.

So, the main character-Zayne is a mullazzim (servant) and this is basically his story from rags to riches (as is already stated in the synopsis). The life changing story of Zayne is practical and logical and can happen to anyone with hard work and luck! in his story, luck plays a great role! 

Beside from that there is really good element of mystery in this book that kept me hooked throughout, though I wish the ending was a bit better and had not come so instantly.

The book is really fast paced and it is a quick read as well. I never felt bored while reading it and it was a good page turner. It has a lot of potential and some of the messages are wonderful.

If you want to read something light or are looking for some diverse books then I will strongly recommend this book to you. It gives all the feels to a person- love, loss, friendship and most importantly a true experience of life.

My Review

“To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered”

This book seems like a gift from the stars to me and to this world to give them happiness and grief. I have no words to describe this absolutely stunning and epic prequel of A Court Of Thorns and Roses

There are just way too many feels even now that I am writing a review for it after nearly a month (though I kept on re-reading maaaany parts from the book)

I still don’t know where to start because what I loved about this book is practically EVERYTHING!!

In case you didn’t like A court of thorns and roses and are hesitant to pick it up, let me just tell you- YOU’RE WRONG! YOU’LL REGRET THESE THOUGHTS ONCE YOU READ THIS MASTERPIECE AND YOU’LL BE THANKFUL TO THE STARS WHO MADE YOU READ THIS BOOK!

This book is everything ACOTAR was not and more. I couldn’t stop smiling while reading it and it is one of the most entertaining books I’ve ever read and also one of my favorites for 2017.

It has some mature content but if you have already read ACOTAR then what are you waiting for?!!

Feyre reaches a whole new level of awesome and badassry in this one and you might start hating some characters too that you loved in ACOTAR and vice versa. Very much. Thanks to Sarah j. Maas.

I loved Rhys. Honestly, who can’t love him?! Everyone needs a Rhysand in their lives and the full form of ACOWAR could just as well have been ‘A court of wanting a Rhysand’.

He is beauty. He is grace. He is RHYS!

I can talk about him all the time and as much as I want him, I don’t because He would better be with Feyre, after all he has done.

Feysand is my Ship and this girl ain’t gonna leave it even if it starts to drown! Their sarcastic flirting just makes my life seems whole.

There are many new characters in this book as well and you can’t help but fall in love with them until the ending breaks your heart in two and you are left staring at the wall, with tears, unable and refusing to accept whatever just happened.

In the end, I was just wishing for the stars to listen and answer my dreams and I hope A court of wings and ruins stands to my expectations!

My Review

In the beginning things didn't make much sense to me but as I continued reading they started to and the story gets woven so skillfully that its one of my favorites now. It is a short book and you flip through the pages so fast that you won't even know when you reach the end. 

The writing style of Mitch Albom always catches my fascination. I've also read ‘the 5 people you meet in heaven’ and fell in love with the book. If someone asks me about that book only one word comes to mind to describe it and that is- beautiful. It was beautiful in a way beyond words. I feel the same about this book too. It is one of those books which you close and it makes you wonder, it made me wonder about time, misery, how we all are unsatisfied and the dread for more.

The sentences are short and the language is very easy. The ending notes of each chapter and the small sentences in bold just added to the beauty of this piece of art.

This book makes you wonder what I is you are doing with your life. It is not a philosophical story though. The characters are based in our world only and we have an interaction with three people.

An ordinary, what now-a-days will be called, an average girl, wanting to end her life

A powerful and rich businessman dreaming about another lifetime

Normally these three wouldn't have met at all in their lives if it wasn't for one thing that connected them in the most strange ways- Time.

I would recommend this magical tale to everyone without any exception of age or taste in reading. This book will be appealing to all and can change at least something in those who read it, forever.

My Review

This book is a compilation of letters to an anonymous person from a boy named Charlie and it is set in the 1990’s. I have a thing for diaries and journals and letters and so this book was really appealing to me. The letters were combined in a very nice way which made sense. At times I felt as if the letters were directed to me. As if the person-Charlie, was writing those letters to me, talking to me, about his life. I got a strange positive feeling while reading this book which I can’t express in words.

The protagonist and the narrator, or writer of the letters, - Charlie, is the sweetest character I've met (in a book of course). He is so genuine and observant and what you can call a good person, an actual good person. He is referred to as a wallflower, who observes everything going around him and tries to know the meaning of life without even knowing it.

 The narration is excellent. We come to know about all the people in his life who have affected him in the past and are shaping his present. This book portrays Charlie’s journey through high school and all the problems children face during that time and how they cope up with them, make friends and how the time spent in high school is the best time of one’s life which is relished throughout life.

This book also talks about some serious issues seen from the eyes of an innocent boy. The language was really very easy. If you are just starting to read then this book can prove to be the one to get you into reading, and if you are already in love with the habit of reading, then this book has the power to make you fall for reading again and with more intensity. Also if you want to know what happens in high school or are going through hard time, this book can show you the positive side of life and give you hope that you’ll find a way out. Coincidentally, I was having a bad time and I read books when life seems tough, so I picked this book not knowing anything about it and now that I have finished it, I feel happy and not alone.

If you have read this book then what was your favorite scene? *Spoilers Ahead* Mine was when Bill tells Charlie that he is special. After reading that scene I thought if anyone had called me special or something like that ever, but unfortunately for me the answer was no. I just hope someone says that I am special too someday.
